Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Ninsoftware ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our applications and services, including integrations with third-party services such as Google Drive. By using our apps, you agree to the practices described here.
🔵 Google API & Google Drive Integration
Ninsoftware's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We access Google Drive only when you explicitly authorize it. We never access your Google account for any purpose other than what is described on this page and shown during the OAuth consent screen.
OAuth Scopes We Request
When you connect your Google account, we request only the permissions necessary to provide our features. The specific scopes we use are:

Limited Use Policy Compliance
In accordance with Google's Limited Use requirements, data obtained through Google APIs:
- Is used only to provide or improve user-facing features visible within our application.
- Is not used for advertising, ad targeting, or to create advertising profiles.
- Is not sold, transferred, or disclosed to third parties, except as necessary to provide the service.
- Is not used for credit assessments or lending decisions.
- Is not shared with humans except for security purposes, support you explicitly request, or when required by law.
Revoking Access
You can revoke Ninsoftware's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions and removing our app. Revoking access does not delete data already stored — see the Data Retention section for details.
Data We Collect
Information you provide
- Name, email address, and profile photo (via Google Sign-In)
- App preferences and settings you configure
- Content you create or upload within our apps
- Support messages or feedback you send to us
Information collected automatically
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Usage events (which features are used, session duration)
- Crash reports and error logs
- IP address (used for security, not stored long-term)
📌 We do not collect precise location data, microphone input, camera photos, or contacts unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature that requires it.
How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our applications
- Sync your data across your devices via your Google Drive
- Authenticate you securely using Google Sign-In
- Send transactional emails (receipts, security alerts) — not marketing unless opted in
- Improve app performance using anonymized analytics
- Respond to your support requests
- Comply with legal obligations
⚠️ We will never use your Google Drive data to train machine learning models or for any purpose not described in this policy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers: Trusted vendors (hosting, crash reporting, analytics) who are contractually bound to handle data only as instructed by us.
- Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
- Business transfers: In a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer — we will notify you before that happens.
- Your consent: Any other sharing only occurs with your explicit permission.
Our current third-party service providers include: cloud hosting (AWS), crash analytics (Sentry), and payment processing (Stripe). None of these receive your Google Drive file contents.
Storage & Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States and Singapore. We implement industry-standard safeguards including:
- TLS 1.3 encryption in transit
- AES-256 encryption at rest
- Access controls limited to authorized personnel only
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- OAuth tokens stored encrypted, never in plain text
No method of transmission is 100% secure. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you within 72 hours.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- Profile and account data is deleted within 30 days
- Google OAuth tokens are immediately revoked and deleted
- Backups containing your data are purged within 90 days
- Anonymized analytics data (no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely
Files stored in your own Google Drive are yours — we do not keep copies on our servers unless you explicitly use a backup feature.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of data we hold about you
- Correction — request we fix inaccurate data
- Deletion — request we delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Objection — object to how we process your data
- Withdraw consent — revoke any consent you have given

Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data without parental consent, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Post the updated policy on this page with a new effective date
- Send an in-app notification or email for significant changes
Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
